David is responsible for a team of 20 variable project managers in Michigan who serve our Brokers, Asset Managers, and various local and national corporate accounts. This team provides complete project management services on a variety of projects from ground up construction to tenant improvement through large and highly complex relocation assignments. David also provides consulting in the areas of strategic planning, site plan approval, and process development.
David is a licensed architect with 20 years of experience in Commercial Design and Project Development. He is familiar with the workings of corporations and finding solutions to difficult issues via teamwork and creative problem solving. David’s main objective is to deliver the client the "Best Service Possible" through his experience as a Team Leader leveraging the CBRE network of people, processes and services.

Alliance Director Volkswagen
David was responsible for leading a team of 30 real estate professionals who service the Volkswagen of America account in the US and Canada. This team of professionals provides Transaction, Facility and Project Management services along with Lease Administration to Volkswagen’s 4,800,000 SF real estate portfolio.
During his tenure, David and his team completed the acquisition of land for VW’s new Arizona Test Track, orchestrated the sale lease back of over 1,000,000 SF of Parts Distribution Centers, and led the account to its most profitable year in its 8-year history. The account maintains a 95% customer satisfaction level. David also oversaw the 3 year contract renewal for the account in 2008.
David was the lead Project Manager in the Development of Lear’s new 105,000 SF World Headquarters in Southfield, MI. Aspects of the project included: a Brownfield site development, multi-disciplined consultant staff from coast-to-coast, and a complex integrated campus design of the HQ and 67,000 SF expansion/renovation of exist. Design Center. The project was delivered to Lear on time and within budget.
David’s main responsibility was to reorganize the Project Management Team and to bring CBRE’s Best Practices and Processes to the account. While on the account, David worked with his team to develop the PJM Playbook, implement Project Talk software, and create a strategy to deliver the New and Refurbishment branch program for Comerica. The reorganization process assisted CBRE in renewing the account.
Volkswagen Program Management
David’s first assignment at TCC in February 2001 was to manage a team of 14 people for the Volkswagen and Audi retail programs. The programs included the development and monitoring the corporate image on over 450 dealerships across the United States. Under David’s direction the Audi program moved from losing money to becoming the most profitable project program on the VW account. The VW Marketplace program remains in place today and continues to be profitable for the company.
David owned and operated an Architectural and Project Management firm whose major responsibility was the implementation of the GM 2000 and Saturn Dealership Programs. The program included the re-imaging, re-branding, due diligence, and construction of over 750 locations over a five year period. The overall program was 96% on budget and 98% on-time achieving a client satisfaction rating of over 90%. The firm was comprised of four offices around the country with 45 employees serving our clients.
