Daniel Schumacher serves as the Senior Vice President, Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Technology Solutions at CBRE and has responsibilities over client-facing technology for the GWS business. He is a business-centric leader and has focused on driving competitive differentiation in the market through technology enabled service delivery in the workplace. His organization includes supporting client and account facing technologies, new business development and ongoing client support, as well as engaging with technology centers of excellence supporting finance, HR, and other central functions.
Daniel joined CBRE when the company acquired the GWS business of Johnson Controls in 2015 and previously served as Vice President, Information Technology for the business unit. Previously, he was Executive Director, Global IT Risk Management with responsibilities covering the corporation's enterprise-wide IT Security, Disaster Recovery, and Data Privacy functions, as well as Director of Global IT Audit and SOX Compliance.
Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Daniel was Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers working in the Systems and Process Assurance practice providing assurance and advisory services to clients in the automotive, industrial manufacturing, telecommunications, and consumer products industries. He also worked as a consultant with Accenture and Andersen Consulting, delivering business process transformation projects in conjunction with ERP system implementations.
