Professional Experience

Colin Morrison, MAI, is Vice President in the Northern California Region of CBRE. He has two decades of professional experience in the preparation and review of real estate appraisals, feasibility studies, market rent analyses, and highest and best use analyses for commercial and residential real property. Mr. Morrison’s litigation support and expert witness testimony is enhanced by his legal background and understanding of the nuances and expectations present in litigation work and the dynamics between attorneys, their clients, and opposing counsel.

Mr. Morrison’s experience includes real property metrics for all asset classes including: retail, office, industrial, commercial, and multifamily. His special purpose assignments include: lodging, skilled nursing, assisted living, restaurants, parking structures, day care centers, service stations, golf courses, schools, religious facilities, orchards, crops, dairy farms, subdivisions and other special purpose properties. He has prepared assignments for: mortgage lending, asset management, estate settlement, bankruptcy proceedings, option valuation, eminent domain/condemnation, property tax appeals, litigation support, minority interest valuation, financial restructuring, partnership disputes, and expert witness testimony. His assignments have included: fee simple, leased fee, leasehold, pro-forma analyses, highest and best use studies, land valuation, discounted cash flow analysis, market rent evaluations, diminution/loss in value, and damages.
