Cody Armbrister is the Senior Managing Director of the Houston market for CBRE, Inc., the leading provider of commercial real estate services globally. In this role, Mr. Armbrister oversees the firm's Greater Houston operations, which encompasses three offices and more than 1,300 professionals in the Greater Houston Area.
Mr. Armbrister brings a dual perspective to his role as senior managing director. He served as a producer for CBRE in Houston for more than 11 years before transitioning into his current leadership role. With a dedication for collaboration in service delivery, Mr. Armbrister actively promotes the integration of multiple disciplines to ensure well-conceived, strategic solutions for complex client assignments. During his tenure, the company’s service offerings have expanded beyond traditional brokerage and CBRE has become the leader across the Greater Houston market in nearly every service line, including:

Under Mr. Armbrister’s oversight of the executive leadership team, the region has grown to include more than 1,300 employees who manage more than 46 million square feet of commercial properties and annually complete more than 1,400 sale and lease transactions. In 2016, the Houston Business Journal and the Houston Chronicle recognized CBRE as a Best Place to Work and Top Workplace, respectively, in Houston.
As one of Houston’s real estate industry veterans and office leasing experts, Mr. Armbrister and his colleagues were instrumental in building Houston’s office skyline and helping key companies establish roots and create a presence within the 4th largest city in the U.S. He has also been involved in some of Houston’s most notable developments including Hess Tower, Energy Center Three, Four and Five and Noble Energy Center One and Two. Over his brokerage career, Mr. Armbrister completed more than 700 office leases totaling more than $3.25 billion in value.
Giving time and energy back to the Houston community is a major focus for Mr. Armbrister and his family. He currently serves as Charity Selection Lead and Co-President Elect for The Children’s Fund, Inc. an organization that provides funding for early-stage charities, which provide crucial services to disadvantaged children across the Greater Houston area. Mr. Armbrister is also a member of The Greater Houston Partnership, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the University of Texas Exes Student Association.
