Professional Experience

Chris Corrinet is a Senior Vice President in CBRE’s Consulting Group in New York City where he is responsible for developing, analyzing and executing real estate strategies for companies across a broad range of industries.  Since joining CBRE Consulting in 2005, Chris has completed in excess of 15 million square feet of transactions representing tenants. 

In 2017, his notable transactions included Interactive Brokers’ 162,000-square-foot lease in Greenwich, CT and in NYC, Informa’s 60,000-square-foot consolidation to 605 Third Avenue, Robins Kaplan’s 40,000-square-foot relocation to 399 Park Avenue, American Kennel Club’s 60,000-square-foot relocation to 101 Park Avenue and OXO International’s 52,000-square-foot lease at the Starrett Lehigh Building.

In December 2016, Chris represented the National Hockey League in its 180,000-square-foot relocation to 1 Manhattan West, the first new office tower in Brookfield’s 5 million-square-foot development project in the Hudson Yards, and will include a two-floor retail store and a NHL-branded ice rink in the plaza of Manhattan West that will be accessible to the public each November through March. The transaction won the Real Estate Board of New York’s Henry Hart Rice award as the Most Ingenious Deal of 2016, REBNY’s top honor.  Also in December, he represented Credit Industriel ét Commercial in its 50,000-square-foot renewal at 520 Madison Avenue. 

In October 2016, Chris represented Major League Baseball in its 400,000-square-foot consolidation to 1271 Avenue of the Americas, where MLB will anchor the re-development of the Rockefeller Group’s 2 million-square-foot property formerly leased to Time Inc.  The deal will include a MLB-branded retail presence on Avenue of the Americas and an expansive outdoor terrace on the 8th floor exclusive to MLB.

In May 2016, he represented Hudson River Trading in its 69,000-square-foot relocation to 4 World Trade Center, which included the largest private terrace in New York City on the 57th floor, and in February 2016, he represented Citadel in its 211,000-square-foot anchor lease at 425 Park Avenue, the first new development on Park Avenue in 50 years.

In 2015, his notable assignments included Intersection/Sidewalk Lab’s 68,000-square-foot consolidation at 10 Hudson Yards (the first commercial tower in the Hudson Yards development), Sportsnet New York’s (New York Mets) 84,000-square-foot relocation to 4 World Trade Center, Fiduciary Trust’s 127,000-square-foot relocation to 280 Park Avenue and Bloomberg LP’s 550,000-square-foot expansion at 919 Third Avenue and 190,000-square-foot extension at its corporate headquarters at 731 Lexington Avenue. 

In 2014, he represented AMC Networks in its 340,000-square-foot renewal/expansion at 11 Penn Plaza, Google Inc. in its 180,000-square-foot expansion at 85 Tenth Avenue and Troutman Sanders’ 87,000-square-foot relocation to 875 Third Avenue.    

Prior to CBRE, Chris graduated from Deerfield Academy in 1997 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Princeton University in 2001, where he was a captain of the Men’s Varsity Ice Hockey team, captured two Ivy League Championships and was a 4th round draft pick of the Washington Capitals in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.  Following his graduation from Princeton, Chris played four years of professional ice hockey, notably for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and in Slovenia, where his team captured the national championship.
