Chris Gerard is a retail investment sales professional within the National Retail Investment Group of CBRE. Based in the Dallas office, Mr. Gerard is engaged in the execution of retail investment sales in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
Mr. Gerard represents both institutional and private clients on the disposition and acquisition of retail shopping centers. Since 2006, he has personally directed the sale of more than 6.81 million square feet of retail properties worth in excess of $1.04 billion. Recent notable transactions include: Shopping USA Portfolio, Alamo Ranch ($93 million), Timber Creek Crossing ($82 million), Deerbrook Marketplace ($43.1 million) and The Shops at Vineyard Village ($35.5 million).
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Gerard worked on retail acquisitions and development for Archon Group with experience on over 3 million square feet of retail development and over $200 million in retail and land acquisitions. This prior experience gives Mr. Gerard a multi-faceted skill set, which he applies to each marketing campaign.
