Chris Bone is CBRE's Global Director of Corporate Facilities and Workplace Strategy. Chris has more than 20 years of experience in corporate real estate and has worked closely with Laura O’Brien to oversee the implementation of CBRE's highly successful Workplace360 initiative. He has served as Senior Director for Global Facilities since 2012, managing the company’s 4.6 million sq. ft. corporate office lease portfolio.
Chris was previously responsible for the successful execution of CBRE’s Transaction Management for Bank of America within a seven-state area. His focus is championing the delivery of best-in-class service for the client while achieving exemplary financial and qualitative results. He has completed more than 300 transactions on the account valued at more than $250 million.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2008, Chris led the retail development efforts for FedEx Kinko’s in the Southwest. His duties included the oversight and management of the transaction, design, and construction teams to successfully open more than 60 stores. Under his leadership, the Southwest region continually exceeded its financial and quality benchmarks.
During his eight years at AT&T (formerly SBC Communications), Chris oversaw the purchase, leasing and disposition of AT&T’s real estate in North Texas. His portfolio included more than 12 million square feet of both owned and leased properties and an annual lease budget of $27 million.
With a real estate career spanning 20 years, Chris' experience also includes retail asset management and leasing. His extensive knowledge of the varying types of market transactions allows outstanding execution based on his clients’ goals. His management of outsourced service providers at FedEx Kinko’s and AT&T provides him with a unique skill set, allowing him to anticipate client needs and deliver superior service and results.
