Cassie Tithof is a Vice President Appraiser with CBRE's Valuation and Advisory Services Group in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ms. Tithof's geographical focus takes her across the State of Michigan with an emphasis on properties in western and northern Michigan.
Ms. Tithof is a member of the Multi-Family Valuation Team within CBRE. With a wide range of experience, Ms. Tithof has valued traditional multi-family, student housing, affordable housing financed using the Section 42 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program and/or encumbered by project-based Section 8 Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) contracts, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac projects, conduit and other capital-market products, and proposed properties. Additionally, she specializes in FHA multi-family appraisals in conformance with HUD Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) Program guidelines for the entire State of Michigan.
Ms. Tithof joined the CBRE team in Grand Rapids as a valuation associate in 2006 after graduating with a BBA from Western Michigan University. She became a Senior Appraiser in 2010 after obtaining her Certified General Appraiser License. Her experience encompasses a wide variety of real estate valuation assignments including senior housing, manufactured housing communities, office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, and special-use assets. Prior to joining CBRE, Ms. Tithof was an intern at Kellogg Company.
