Professional Experience
Cash Smith is CBRE’s Director of Corporate Development. In this role, he leads CBRE’s Corporate Development on a global basis, including the company’s mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnership and investments.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Smith was an investment banker with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for the origination, execution, structuring and negotiation of capital markets and advisory assignments across the real estate, gaming and lodging sectors. During this time, he evaluated and executed debt and equity offerings in excess of $12 billion and worked on numerous merger & acquisition transactions, including advising CBRE on its $1.2 billion acquisition of ING Bank’s leading global Real Estate Investment Management business. Previously, he was Global Real Estate Manager for Procter & Gamble, including leading P&G’s real estate division in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Mr. Smith received an M.B.A. from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business and B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
