Carter Dunlap joined the Dallas CBRE Debt and Structured Finance Team in March 2017. To date, he has he has participated in the origination, structuring and closing of more than 20 transactions totaling approximately $2 billion with an emphasis on office, industrial, and retail assets.
As a financial analyst, Carter’s primary responsibilities include commercial real estate valuation, underwriting, and debt origination. Carter and the CBRE Capital Markets team structure various capital arrangements, including permanent debt, bridge debt, construction financing and joint venture equity. Recent notable transactions include 2100 Powell ($112 million), Concourse Creative Campus ($99 million), National Medical Portfolio ($443 million), Texas Industrial Portfolio ($115 million), 8750 NCX ($81 million), Chicago Industrial Portfolio ($60 million), North Bethesda Market ($126 million), Stamford Towers ($68 million), and The Campus at 3333 ($310 million).
Prior to CBRE, Mr. Dunlap spent over four years with Compass Datacenters, LLC, a whole-sale data center development company in Dallas. He also spent two years at Benchmark Bank in Plano, TX as a credit analyst.
