Caitlin Rink is a member of the San Francisco Urban Retail team, focusing on representation for best-in-class landlords and tenants. She joins the team with over 12 years of comprehensive retail leasing experience, managing portfolios in-house for mixed-use investors and developers, shopping centers and malls.
Most recently Caitlin worked for CIM Group, an LA-based investment fund managing over $20 billion in assets. While at CIM, Caitlin managed the retail leasing efforts for an impressive portfolio of urban mixed-use assets throughout Southern and Northern California. Locally, she managed the retail programming for Oakland’s iconic Uptown Station and initiated a turnaround plan for Jack London Square, where she negotiated leases with Bay Area favorites such as Tartine, Belcampo, and Oaklandish. Prior to CIM, Caitlin developed deep relationships with national retailers as the Director of National Accounts for Brixmor Property Group and as Director of Big-Box Leasing for General Growth Properties.
Caitlin is particularly experienced in retail repositioning and knows how crucial the tenant mix is to the overall success of the asset. She is excited about the new era of experiential retail and enjoys working with retailers to encourage adaptation toward shifting consumer demands. Furthermore, Caitlin offers a unique service to agency leasing clients, given her extensive first-hand knowledge of the goals and strategies involved in driving value for ownership.
Caitlin is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and holds a real estate license in the state of California.
