Mr. Miller has worked extensively with REITs, institutional and multi-market owners, providing advisory services for both the acquisition and disposition of income producing investment properties. Mr. Miller specializes in bulk, distribution, flex and business park properties in the Southeastern United States.
J.D. "Butch" Miller has over forty years’ experience in the real estate industry as an advisor and transactional representative. During his career with CBRE, Mr. Miller has been involved in transactions of over 32.5 million square feet for over $1.1 billion in total consideration.
Mr. Miller joined CBRE in 1986 as an industrial broker specializing in the sale and leasing of industrial properties in Palm Beach County. In 1989, Butch joined the Investment Department of CBRE Palm Beach County specializing in the sale of multi-tenant income producing industrial properties, net leased and sale/leaseback investments. In 1993, he relocated to CBRE’s Atlanta office specializing in the sale of institutional grade income producing real estate.
Mr. Miller was appointed Managing Director of the CBRE | Raleigh office in 2002 where he was responsible for and directed all brokerage services. Most recently, Mr. Miller has returned to brokerage services focusing solely on the sale and leasing of industrial product.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Miller was involved in the real estate industry in Galveston, Texas for sixteen years, eleven of which as owner and president of his own brokerage firm involved in sales, leasing and consulting.
