With more than 15 years of real estate experience, Brandon Isner joined CBRE’s Tampa office in May of 2018 as a Senior Research Analyst. Focused on retail real estate, he is responsible for coordinating, planning and executing research projects for the Florida markets.
In 2017, Brandon created a report called “Dead Malls – A Boost for Retail?” which discussed the growing trend of poorly performing malls being repurposed or redeveloped into the current highest and best use. In addition, Brandon co-authored the CBRE National Report: “Resurgence in Secondary Markets.” As urbanization and revitalization continue to reshape many markets across the U.S., particularly in the Midwest, there is a surge of mixed-use urban development and a population shift away from the suburbs toward downtown areas. Brandon also developed the Legacy Cities study that has been presented throughout Northeast Ohio, including a presentation on behalf of the Downtown Cleveland Alliance which was helpful in supporting the reauthorization of its Special Improvement District (SID) fund.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Isner worked with Forest City Residential Management in leasing and property management. Previously, he was associated with several residential brokerages in New York City including Manhattan Apartments, Inc. and Bond New York Real Estate. He carries a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Studies, and a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning, Design, and Development from Cleveland State University.
