Professional Experience




Bill Robinson serves as the Platform Director for integrated Facilities Management and Mobile Engineering services on the Bank of America account. Mr. Robinson helps ensure consistent attainment of all key performance indicators, high process excellence, full alignment of the field execution teams and the client’s key goals across its 30 million-sq. ft. portfolio that spans more than 3,000 locations. Mr. Robinson is also a member of the account’s senior leadership team, overseeing business continuity. He works closely with other service lines and corporate leaders to ensure employees are well prepared, and able to quickly respond to large-scale disasters in support of the client.

Mr. Robinson has more than 18 years of professional experience in facilities management, business development, leasing, brokerage and project management in the commercial real estate and non-profit industries. Recognized by his peers as an industry leader, Mr. Robinson has received several awards. Most recently, he received the 2015 CBRE Rising Star award where he was one of 96 individuals recognized amongst more than 19,000 Global Corporate Services employees.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Robinson spent almost five years with Cushman & Wakefield in facilities management and real estate transactions. He also worked in real estate investments and held progressively responsible roles in the non-profit industry before attending graduate business school in real estate. Throughout his career, Mr. Robinson has represented landlords and tenants in lease negotiations, secured and implemented multi-million dollar service contracts with Fortune 500 clients, and led diverse and cross-functional teams to exceed internal and client goals on a nationwide basis.

Mr. Robinson serves on the board of directors for the Carolinas Chapter for CoreNet Global, the leading industry association for advancing corporate real estate. He also volunteers in several capacities of facility management and community service organizations, including coaching youth baseball and advising non-profits on their facilities and long-range planning needs.

The Carolinas Chapter of CoreNet Global named Mr. Robinson Volunteer of the Year in 2014. He also received the Global Innovation Award in 2010 and 2011 during his tenure with Cushman & Wakefield, selected from nearly 16,000 employees.

Mr. Robinson is a regular emcee and presenter at corporate real estate events, helping to promote the sharing of industry best practices and innovations.
