Beau Garrido is a Senior Research Analyst in the Manhattan office of CBRE’s Global Research and Consulting group. Beau works closely with sales professionals serving major landlords, tenants and investors, giving them the knowledge they need to help drive informed real estate decisions. He also serves as a key resource for REIT analysts at several large investment banks.
Appreciated for his precision, intellectual acuity and analytical turn of mind, Beau takes the lead in producing many CBRE publications that cover the Manhattan market. He authors the monthly Manhattan Office Snapshots and holds responsibility for the quarterly MarketViews, as well as authoring biannual reports on the leasing trends of two of Manhattan’s most significant occupier industries: financial and legal services.
In addition, working with the Head of Investment Research for the Americas, Beau coauthors the CBRE North America Cap Rate Survey, the firm’s most widely publicized report. The biannual survey explores movements in rates of return for various commercial property types and classes across the U.S. and Canada.
Beau joined CBRE in 2011 as a member of the London-based EMEA Research and Consulting group, where he focused on analyzing cross-border investment and occupier activity, as well as maintained CBRE’s proprietary indices, which serve as well-regarded benchmarks for the performance of European property markets.
Prior to joining the firm, Beau interned with Lexington Communications, the U.K.’s leading independent public affairs and communications agency. He also interned with the U.S. Congress, helping implement a program designed to support homeowners facing foreclosure as a result of the 2008 financial crisis.
