Professional Experience

Austin Benedict serves within CBRE Nashville’s Retail Services Group and focuses on leasing and investment opportunities in the retail sector. He works with all forms of retail, but has particularly deep experience with Nashville’s core and surrounding urban areas.
 
Austin is responsible for the marketing and leasing of both existing and new construction, and provides time savings and higher investment returns by advising clients through all phases of the retail development life-cycle. This advice spans from the retail space design, to tenant programming, and through the transaction negotiation process. Whether a mixed-use development’s primary use is residential, office, hospitality or even a parking structure, Austin has experience in overcoming the complexities in these settings. A history of successful assignments evidences Austin’s ability to consistently recruit retail and restaurant tenants who harmonize within the greater project. Austin continues to list and lease to completion more projects in the urban core than any competing broker.
 
Over the course of his career, Austin has grown to represent a range of clients, spanning from local to institutional owners and occupiers of commercial real estate. Apart from his owner representation, he also advises a number regional and national retail and restaurant operations in site selection and transaction negotiations.
