Significant Assignments

  • A prominent national retailer needed a location in a dense neighborhood on the south side of Milwaukee, where few options exist. Andy helped the retailer create a 2-acre site by assembling 8 parcels, owned by 7 different property owners. The process, took over 3 years; but it has given the retailer a new, prototype location at the precise intersection where they wanted to be, and has helped transform the neighborhood and community.
  • A large, international, publicly-traded company needed a 3+ acre site in the North Shore, a request not easy to fill. Identifying the perfect site that met all the client's rigid requirements was just the first hurdle - the real estate deal involved much more than site selection and envisioning a complex development on a well-established “infill” location. Completing the development also involved a complex rezoning and municipal approval process, assembling properties, working with neighborhood and environmental groups, negotiating a development agreement, and interacting with existing tenants. Andy created relationships not only with the client, but also with the client's support staff, architects, contractors, members of the community and local governmental personnel - all of which were crucial to completing the transaction.
