Professional Experience

Andrew Burger, MAI, has over 11 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience. Mr. Burger specializes in multifamily and affordable multifamily valuations with primary geographical locations including the Sacramento and the Central Valley and Bay Area.

Mr. Burger is a member of the Hotel and Multifamily specialty groups within CBRE. Additionally, he is a California Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and a member of the Appraisal Institute. Mr. Burger has experience providing appraisals, HUD-MAP valuations, consultations, rent analyses and comparability studies.

Mr. Burger’s experience encompasses a wide variety of property types including multifamily market-rented, affordable housing, and tax credit housing projects; retail assets that are stabilized, non-stabilized single- or multi-tenanted; industrial projects including R&D, self-storage, warehousing, manufacturing, and cold storage; office projects that are single- or multi-tenanted: including government leased and owned, and medical offices, as well as mixed-use properties; full-service and limited-service hotels; raw and developed land; residential subdivisions and large-scale master planned communities; as well as other specialty assets such as auto dealerships and gas stations.

Andrew Burger, MAI, joined CBRE in 2005 and has a long-term tenure appraising projects for this firm throughout California. Mr. Burger heads a small team of licensed appraisers with a focus on multifamily. Mr. Burger serves as the Secretary-Treasurer of the local Sacramento-Sierra chapter of the Appraisal Institute in 2016.
