Amira Yunis is an Executive Vice President with CBRE’s Retail Services Group, representing tenants and landlords in retail transactions throughout the Tri-State area and beyond. Known for her dynamic vision and intimate knowledge of retail markets nationwide, Ms. Yunis has extensive experience procuring key retail locations and flagship stores, executing national roll-outs and introducing new and foreign retailers to the market.
Ms. Yunis works with an impressive roster of retailers, from large national chains to specialty, high-end brands. In 2006, she won the Real Estate Board of New York’s Retail Deal of the Year Award for her work in representing New York University and bringing Trader Joe’s to its first Manhattan location, on 14th Street. In addition, Ms. Yunis was recognized by Crain’s New York Business as a “40 Under 40” Award recipient in 2006 and was named to Real Estate Forum’s “Women of Influence” list in both 2007 and 2008. Frequently quoted in the media, Ms. Yunis has appeared in publications ranging from the Commercial Observer to the New York Real Estate Journal to the New York Times.
Prior to joining CBRE, Ms. Yunis worked at Newmark Knight Frank, most recently serving as an Executive Vice President and Principal.
