Alex Martinac is a Vice President with CBRE’s Retail Services group, focusing on multi-unit retail representation. Over the course of his 9-year career with CBRE, Alex has assisted property owners, developers, and investors with core advisory services and market analysis, coordinating strategies to integrate sales professionals, developers and retailers through complex transactions. Since 2014, he has been involved in sales and lease transactions valued at over $200 million; represented over 1 million sq. ft. of retail product; and coordinated over $75 million in new commercial developments.
A dedicated team player, Alex uses his broad geographic expertise in both Washington and Oregon, along with industry leading technology such as Dimension, Hightower and VTS, to provide creative solutions that give his clients a competitive advantage. Through the CBRE network, he offers clients with national or global ambitions the tools and pooled expertise to facilitate national expansions. Additionally, in an effort to keep abreast of the latest developments and trends, Alex will perform pro-bono work for local start-ups looing to enter the retail space, increasing the value clients receive from their relationship with CBRE.
A native Washingtonian, Alex spent 10 years in the marine industry prior to his career in real estate. He lives in Portland with his wife and two children.
