Abby represents landlords at many of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area’s premier retail properties and secures prime locations for prominent retailers and restaurants. Abby has five years of retail leasing experience, and is teamed with Executive Vice President Lisa Stoddard to provide retail leasing and consulting services in mixed-use lifestyle developments and urban storefronts.
Abby’s primary responsibilities include property marketing, scouting for prospective tenants, and LOI and lease negotiations. She follows local and national market, and industry trends to optimize the value and performance of the assets she leases and tenants she represents. Abby also conducts sales analysis of tenants in existing projects to monitor the project’s health and fine-tune the merchandising strategy.
Abby leverages the CBRE national platform to gather market intel and best practices– in 2017, she organized the national Strategic Retail Network, a group of seven retail professionals in major markets across the US, who collaborate and share information on urban retail leasing.

Reston Town Center, Northern Virginia’s premier mixed-use retail experience, has 450,000 square feet (SF) of destination retail including the Apple Store, Bowtie Cinemas, and Mon Ami Gabi. The center also has 2.2M SF of office space, 2,410 residential units, and 518 hotel rooms on site. In addition to leasing, Abby performed tenant sales analysis and contributed to the team that executed and presented a Consumer Behavior Analytics report.

The Shops at Dakota Crossing bring 450,000 SF of retail to Washington, D.C.’s historically underserved Fort Lincoln neighborhood. Abby worked on the Shops at Dakota Crossing leasing team from pre-development through construction. First-to-market tenants Costco, Lowe’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and PetSmart anchor the project.
