Professional Experience
Mr. Hafter is a senior member of CBRE’s Global Corporate Services group with over 30 years of real estate experience, including valuation, property and investment management, client account management, consulting and tenant representation. After beginning his real estate career with CBRE, then Coldwell Banker, he re-joined the firm with its acquisition of the Trammell Crow Company in 2007. Previous executive positions were held with The Koll Company, Pacific Life, RREEF and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Since turning his focus to exclusively representing corporate clients for their space needs in 1995, Mr. Hafter has negotiated office, retail and industrial leases for over 4,000,000 sq. ft. in nearly all 50 states and Canada. He has extensive experience leading both national and regional client transaction management relationships, strategic occupancy planning, and negotiating transactions of all sizes and complexities. A significant part of Mr. Hafter’s practice has been devoted to clients in the government, defense contracting, technology and financial service sectors.
As a founding member of the CBRE Aerospace and Defense Contractor Practice Group, Mr. Hafter primarily advises clients in the government, defense, technology and aviation sectors.
