    Major Renovations Planned: Sorrento Canyon Technology Center
    In June 2014, Legacy Partners Commercial, Inc. announced the acquisition of Sorrento Canyon Technology Center, four office/life science buildings in Sorrento Mesa located at 5451, 5501 Oberlin Drive and 4940, 4980 Carroll Canyon Road. The acquisition was a joint venture between Legacy and an affiliate of Goldman Sachs. The landlord now plans to completely renovate the exterior and parts of the interior of this strategically located project.

    Canyon Hills Marketplace Sold for $33.5 Million
    CBRE has announced that HELF Investments, L.P. has purchased Canyon Hills Marketplace in Lake Elsinore, located at 25381-25341 Railroad Canyon Rd and 29996-29997 Canyon Hills Road, from CHMP No 1 LLC & CHMP II Owner LLC. The 108,3580 square foot neighborhood shopping center commanded a sale price of $33,500,000.

    CBRE’s Reg Kobzi, Joel Wilson and Peter Orth represented both the seller and the buyer.

    Office Space with High Value Proposition is in Demand
    CBRE’s Mike Hoeck and Ryan Egli (both First Vice Presidents) have closed seven new deals within the year at Sorrento Heights Corporate Center in Sorrento Mesa, located at 10509 Vista Sorrento Parkway. The new tenants include Samsung SDS, Canon, Phil Levi Insurance Agency, Senwha Biosciences, Pharmapace, Merit Technologies and National Healthcare Access Agency. They attribute their success to the building’s unique value proposition and responsive ownership team.
