With more than ten years of experience in tenant and landlord representation, Cara specializes in industrial properties, including manufacturing and distribution facilities. In addition to traditional industrial transactions, Cara represents food and beverage companies on the leasing, acquisition, or disposition of property throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Cara has completed over 4,000,000 square feet of transactions, including a 150,000 square foot space for Bay Valley Foods in NW Portland, 90,000 square foot space for Bridgetown Bakery in Portland, 60,000 square feet for Capsa Solutions, and 60,000 square feet for Danner LaCrosse in NE Portland. In addition to Tenant Representation, Cara also represents the Portland Development Commission (PDC) on multiple land dispositions as well as Prologis on over 600,000 SF of distribution facilities.  Cara has been named as a Power Broker by CoStar, Inc. and earned a NAIOP Committee Excellence Award. She is actively involved in the community, and is a member of several business organizations, including the Commercial Association of Brokers (where she is President Elect of the over 600 member organization), Northwest Food Processors Association, NAIOP Future Leader Committee, Metro Brownfield Task Force, and Board Member for the Commercial Association of Brokers (CAB).  Cara also serves as the Portland market delegate for the CBRE Women’s Network.

Background

Prior to CBRE, Cara was a regional sales representative for an industrial supply company, covering the southwest United States. During the time she held this position, Cara doubled the amount of clients in her region.  Previously, Cara also worked for the Duck Athletic Fund at the University of Oregon where she specialized in donor relations and was the liaison between the athletic department and the Order of the O, the former letter winners organization. ​
