CBRE’s Jenny Aust and Chris Marchildon Selected to Participate in Valley Partnership Advocates Program

Phoenix – Sept. 9, 2013 – CBRE is proud to announce that Jenny Aust and Chris Marchildon have been selected to participate in Valley Partnership’s Advocates program.  The highly competitive Advocates program kicks off its first year this month.

“Jenny and Chris are excellent choices for Valley Partnership’s Advocates Program,” said Craig Henig, CBRE’s senior managing director and Arizona market leader. “The dedication and integrity they bring to their work at CBRE will set them apart in this endeavor as well. I’m proud to call them part of the CBRE team and am looking forward to watching them succeed as part of this group of young commercial real estate leaders.”

Aust began her real estate career with CBRE in 2010 as part of the company’s research department, specializing in office properties. In 2012, she joined the team of Ashley Brooks and Jim Bayless, allowing her to pair her comprehensive understanding of the Phoenix office market with their 20-plus years of experience. Since joining CBRE, she has been involved in almost 100 sales transactions totaling more than 2.3 million square feet. In addition to her Valley Partnership involvement, Aust is also an active member of NAIOP of Arizona and Arizona Commercial Real Estate Women (AZCREW).

Aust attended Villanova University in suburban Philadelphia, Pa., where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English.

Marchildon started with CBRE in 2008, also as part of the research team. As a researcher, he developed an expertise in market analysis, construction process and tracking tenant leasing activity and compiling sales transaction data. In February 2010, Marchildon joined Barry Gabel as a sales assistant. The team specializes in investment properties. Since joining the team, Marchildon has been involved in 57 sales transactions totaling more than $700 million in value. Not only active in Valley Partnership, Marchildon is also a member of NAIOP of Arizona and is the Program’s Chairman for the NAIOP Developing Leaders Steering Committee. In 2012, he was nominated for the organization’s Rookie of the Year award.

Marchildon attended Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

Designed to promote Valley Partnership’s young partners, increase their involvement in the organization and pave the way for future Valley Partnership leadership, the Advocates program brings together 15 Valley Partnership partners 35 years old and younger. Over the course of the next nine months, they will participate in monthly meetings with principals and key figures from Valley Partnership boards and will serve on one or more Valley Partnership committees.

This year’s participating principal partners include prominent figures from DMB, Inc., Vestar, State Land, P.B. Bell Companies, Kitchell, Ryan Companies, The Weitz Company, Sunbelt Holdings, Evergreen Development, Duke Realty, Adolphson & Peterson Construction and Macerich/WDP Partners.
