Kenneth Krasnow joined CBRE in May 2011 as Managing Director, overseeing operations in CBRE’s South Florida offices. Mr. Krasnow provides strategic support to the statewide leader on business development and other ventures to grow the firm’s operations and market share in the South Florida region. He plays an integral role in leveraging opportunities and serving clients effectively.
Mr. Krasnow brings more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of commercial real estate. He is currently responsible for the four (4) offices in South Florida with over 460 employees, including 75 brokerage/capital markets professionals. In 2012, his region executed over 875 lease and sales transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $2.2 billion. In addition, CBRE South Florida completed over 1,550 valuation and advisory assignments and $800 million in loan originations.
Prior to relocating to Florida, Mr. Krasnow held executive positions for Trammell Crow Corporation and Cushman & Wakefield (Cushman) in the New York City area. At Cushman, where he served for 18 years, he oversaw the New York area profit center and after the tragic events of September 11, 2001, Mr. Krasnow brought his region back to record revenues of approximately $200 million. He began his career as a leasing broker and was responsible for more than three million square feet of Class A building agencies in New York City.
