Chris Hitselberger is the Senior Managing Director of the Cost Segregation Group for CBRE, Inc. He provides tax and cash flow management assistance and litigation support for building owners and accounting firms’ clientele throughout the United States. Active in the construction industry since 1980, Mr. Hitselberger’s cost segregation engagements include new construction, acquisitions and ‘look-back’ analyses related to Federal tax, property tax, book depreciation, insurable value and retirement value. He has also participated in financial and construction related litigation support engagements.
Mr. Hitselberger has been a speaker at Building Owners and Managers Association, California CPA Society, California CPA Education Foundation, Ventura and Santa Barbara County Society of CPAs, Kansas Society of CPAs, New Jersey Society of CPAs, New York Society of CPAs, Nassau/Suffolk Chapter CPA Practitioners, American Society of Women Accountants, American Women’s Society of CPAs, AICPA instructional video, CPAAI, Virginia Society of CPAs, Florida Society of CPAs, Tampa Bay CPA Group, Citibank, The Commercial Real Estate School, in addition to speaking at Hundreds of partner retreats and seminars for national, regional and local accounting firms and associations.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Hitselberger was Principal and National Director of the Cost Segregation practice for Marshall & Stevens Incorporated, where his practice completed approximately 600 engagements every year.
