CBRE names Frank Quinn as Managing Director
Frank Quinn has returned to CBRE as Managing Director in Memphis. Quinn was with CBRE in Memphis from 2005 to 2012 before moving to Austin to form his own real estate company. Quinn will replace Kevin Adams as Managing Director. Adams is now executive vice president of the Advisory & Transaction Services business line in Memphis.

Top Memphis industrial expert Tony Argiro Joins CBRE
CBRE Group, Inc., announced Tony Argiro, 16-year commercial real estate veteran, has joined the company as part of its Industrial & Logistics group as a vice president. Specializing in industrial asset leasing and site selection, he joins one of Memphis’ top industrial teams, led by Senior Vice Presidents Jim Mercer and Patrick Burke, and including Associate Jacque Beeson. Together, the industrial team has leased more than 100 million sq. ft. in their more than 75 years of commercial real estate experience.

Memphis market has record year across all sectors
The Memephis market experienced the strongest activity in more than 10 years in the industrial, office and retail sectors. Construction deliveries were also of note in 2015.

CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE:CBG) today announced that it has acquired CBRE | Memphis, a commercial real estate services firm that has served as CBRE’s affiliate in Memphis, Tennessee, since 1996.

Memphis sees increase in mixed-use developments
Developers and businesses are looking to reduce carbon footprints in the area's more dense neighborhoods. “For years, all we did was jump to the next intersection. Now we’re seeing that we have to go back to those intersections,” said Johnny Lamberson, Executive Vice President of CBRE Memphis. “There's a higher push to make it more dense because it's more green and you're leaving less of a footprint. With prices, that's the only way you can make these things work is to go up and create more than just that single-level retail we’re used to.”
