John A. Holland is responsible for leadership of the South Texas/Louisiana trade area. His functional responsibility includes brokerage services, asset services, corporate services, construction/project management, capital markets and valuation services. His geographic area of responsibility spans from El Paso and the Texas/Mexico Borderzone through Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Louisiana.
Mr. Holland joined CBRE in early 2007 as a result of the company’s acquisition of Trammell Crow Company. In 1986, Mr. Holland began his career with TCC as an office leasing agent. In 1991, he was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and provided staff leadership for over 10 million square feet of office space in Dallas / Ft. Worth. In 1993, he moved to Houston as Area Partner and developed Trammell Crow Company’s Houston office business from start-up to over 6 million square feet. He led a team responsible for development, property management, project leasing, tenant representation, and investment sales for institutional, private and corporate clients. In 2001, Mr. Holland was promoted Senior Managing Director, responsible for TCC’s Global Service business in South Texas, leading solutions for over 50 million square feet of commercial space.
Prior to Trammell Crow Company, Mr. Holland was Senior Land Representative for Shell Oil Company working various roles in Shell Oil Company’s Western Exploration and Production unit.
