CBRE Greenville, SC, affiliate conducts foreclosure auction, wins management and leasing assignments for Liberty Square
CBRE’s affiliate office in Greenville, South Carolina, (CBRE | The Furman Co.) recently collaborated with CBRE’s Denver, Colorado, and Charlotte, North Carolina, offices to conduct a UCC foreclosure auction for Lehman Brothers Holdings, the mezzanine lender for Liberty Square. As a result of the auction, Lehman Brothers Holdings now has control of the ownership of the property, which includes two Class A office buildings totaling more than 440,000 sq. ft. Notably, CBRE | The Furman Co. has been retained to manage and lease these buildings, with Jim Roman of the Asset Services team leading the effort. Some of Liberty Square’s notable tenants include Gallivan, White & Boyd, Ernst & Young, Jackson Lewis LLP, Dority & Manning P.A. and The Commerce Club.
