Robert Given, Vice Chairman, is a member of CBRE Institutional Properties, CBRE Major Accounts Group, CBRE South Florida Senior Leadership Board, University of Florida’s Real Estate Board, National Multi-Housing Council and has been a guest lecturer for National Apartment Association, University of Miami School of Law, Masters in RE classes, and the Urban Land Institute. Robert is responsible for leading a twelve-member team that focuses business primarily in Florida.
With a proven track record for successfully participating in the sale, marketing, and consulting of over 300 investment properties, Mr. Given and his twelve-member team have represented more than 90,000 multifamily units and land transactions, with a value in excess of $20 billion. Among his many accomplishments: the CBRE No. 1 Producer in Florida in 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, and 2009; inducted into CBRE’s Colbert Coldwell Circle Top 225 professionals in the U.S. in 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2006, and 2005; awarded the CBRE Florida Award of Excellence in 2009; and, served as a Top 25 CBRE producer in Florida for 11 years. His successes have gone beyond transactions as well. Robert is a benefactor and advocate for several high profile South Florida charities including Dan Marino Foundation, Voices for Children, and Kids at Home, and participates through CBRE’s philanthropic program, CBRE Cares.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Given served as President and COO of the Altman Management Company and Director of Dispositions for Altman Development Company. He was responsible for the portfolio and corporate overhead performance, investor relations, asset management, development underwriting and dispositions. Prior to Altman, Mr. Given served in regional management roles for Trammell Crow Residential and TESCO Properties.
