Craig Cousins joined CBRE in 2010 and is the Director of Engineering Operations – Data Center Solutions Group. Based in Port Orange, Florida, Craig is responsible for the ongoing implementation of the CBRE Data Center Solutions Group Practice by providing operational and technical leadership to the
Data Center Solutions Group teams across all accounts, leading the development and deployment of critical sites risk reduction strategies and Integrating leading edge technology and solutions providers into the Data Center Solutions Group Practice.
Previous to this position, Craig was the Director of Facility Management and Critical Environments on the Infrastructure Ontario (IO) account. This is one of CBRE’s largest accounts comprised of 47 million square feet of offices, laboratories, government headquarters, courthouses, correctional facilities, aircraft hangars and data centres. Craig led a team of 250 Facilities Management and Technical people delivering complete FM services across the province of Ontario.
Prior to CBRE, Craig served as the National Director of Critical Environments at BLJC where he was directly responsible for the operation and maintenance of the wireless network sites and data centers for various clients and was the lead for deploying the internal critical environments program across most of the BLJC client base including major financial institutions. Craig chaired the Technical Governance Committee on a major communications contract which included members from the client’s network, engineering and real estate departments.
