Simon is the Managing Director of the Denver CBRE asset services office, where he is responsible for managing the retail, industrial and office property management portfolio. This portfolio, which exceeds 20 million square feet, is the largest third party management portfolio in Denver. Additionally, Simon coordinates activities for the Colorado Springs office, including business development, client relations, property management and brokerage services.These assets are managed by over 140 real estate professionals.
Over the last 3 years he has worked on over 25 assets Receivership/REO assets in various roles, including Receiver and asset manager. Simon also oversees a national REIT’s management and leasing portfolio within CBRE.
Simon’s background in asset management and development has enabled him to help owners formulate viable financial performance plans to ensure success. His seamless integration of leasing and management strategy has proven successful to owners. Over the last 20 years, Simon has worked in almost every area of commercial real estate including leasing, sales, construction, development, project management and asset management.
Over the past ten years with CBRE, Simon has been responsible for the management of many significant assets and retail centers around Colorado. Simon has worked with leading retail developers on ground up projects as well as many redevelopment projects.
Prior to joining CBRE, Simon was a director for a local property management company. Until 1997, he was living in South Africa, where he owned a real estate company that provided leasing, management and development expertise to local clients.
