Ray Pittman is the Senior Managing Director and Market Leader for CBRE’s business lines throughout the State of Colorado. With over 27 years of experience in commercial real estate, Ray’s expertise includes brokerage, account management, acquisition and development, business development, corporate strategy and executive team leadership.
Prior to re-joining CBRE, Ray was the President and Founder of Pittman Development Group, Inc., a leading commercial real estate development and investment firm headquartered in Denver, Colorado. During this time, Ray managed some of Colorado’s largest and most prominent commercial and mixed-use projects, including High Point, a 1,800-acre mixed-use community near Denver International Airport. Ray oversaw all aspects of the project’s land assemblage, planning, zoning and initial development prior to its sale.
Prior to founding Pittman Development Group, Ray served as Senior Vice President and regional manager for Catellus Development Corp in Colorado. In this role he was responsible for all aspects of the development business, including acquisitions and dispositions, marketing, sales and leasing, project design, construction management, project financing, and community and government relations. Significant projects for Catellus include the 295-acre, 3 Million SF Stapleton Business Center, the 1.1 million SF Circle Point Corporate Center and the 1,789-acre Village at Avon mixed-use community, including a new Wal-Mart and Home Depot anchored power center.
Ray re-joined CBRE in 2011, where he spent 15 years of his early commercial real estate career. From 1985 through 1999, Ray served in a variety of brokerage and senior management roles with CBRE, including President of Corporate Services and Global Account Management in 1998. Prior to this role, Ray was also Executive Managing Director for the company’s Midwest Region and Executive Managing Officer for the Denver area.
