Professional Experience
Nathaniel Heald specializes in the valuation and sale of both institutional and private capital retail real estate assets across the United States. In the past 18 months, Mr. Heald has participated in transactions totaling over $1.5 billion in more than 50 properties.
Mr. Heald is a member of the firm's National Retail Investment Group—an association of eight offices across the United States, all of whom are the dominant retail investment sales teams in their respective markets—as well as the firm's Private Capital Group. CBRE's PCG platform focuses on the sale of properties up to $25 million.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Heald was an Assistant Vice President in Jones Lang LaSalle's Capital Markets Group where he worked for six years. In this capacity Mr. Heald was involved in building the firm's Retail Investment Sales platform, as well as the firm's Distressed Debt Unit, which marketed and sold non-performing mortgage notes secured by retail properties around the country. Mr. Heald was involved in the sale of nearly $1 billion of non-performing mortgage notes.
