Tony Cerniglia is Vice President of the Retail Services division of CBRE. He and his team are responsible for project leasing and landlord representation in the Southeast market. His duties include project leasing, land brokerage and business development.
Previously Mr. Cerniglia was Vice President of Staubach Retail-Southeast. Prior to joining Staubach, Mr. Cerniglia was a Senior Vice President for Wells Real Estate Investment Trust from 1996 to 2005, a real estate investment trust located in Atlanta. Wells’ primary business was acquiring commercial real estate leased to high credit national tenants. During Mr. Cerniglia’s career at Wells, the company grew from a local company with $25 million in annual sales to a national firm with more than $3 billion in annual sales. In 2001 and 2002, Wells was the largest purchaser of commercial real estate in the United States. Mr. Cerniglia’s duties included leasing, acquisition and disposition, and he was responsible for a 10 million-square-foot portfolio of office, retail and industrial properties nationwide.
Mr. Cerniglia is a native of Atlanta and has been engaged in the commercial real estate business since 1981.
