Peter Stewart is a CBRE Transaction Manager for several international clients. His responsibilities include portfolio analysis, asset valuation, labor and wage analysis as well as transaction coordination. He currently serves as primary portfolio and transaction coordinator for a Fortune 500 manufacturing company, interfacing and executing transactions with various other portfolio managers around the globe in servicing a 122 million SF account. He worked closely at the onset of the account with the Director of Global Real Estate in creating “Transaction Playbooks,” a set of processes, deliverables and required approvals designed to streamline and deliver consistency to real estate assignments.
Mr. Stewart recently spearheaded the collection of critical data for a large network distribution rollout of a Fortune 500 company. This information included site costs, construction costs, incentives, permit time frames, wage and labor analysis, exit cap rates based on credit rating and projected lease rates on sale-leasebacks in 44 markets throughout the United States. This information served as inputs to a network model that ultimately led to a successful rollout of several major distribution centers across the country.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2006, Mr. Stewart was a member of the Logistics Services Group within Trammell Crow Company, where he helped customers better align supply-chain networks with corporate strategies and execution of real estate requirements.
Some of Mr. Stewart’s notable transactions include: 635,000 SF for O-I in Fairfield, California, 3.7 million SF for The Home Depot (seven cities throughout the United States) and 610,000 SF for Covidian in Atlanta, Georgia.
