Los Angeles – July 24, 2012 – CBRE recently announced that Georgia Collins, a recognized expert and thought leader in workplace strategy, has joined CBRE’s Workplace Team as a senior member of the team’s global organization in CBRE’s West region. Georgia will directly manage the team’s efforts in the western United States and serve as the technology sector lead for workplace consulting, as well as support the overall growth of the global organization.
“Corporations are rethinking how to best enable how, when, and where their employees perform work in response to a number of factors ranging from the economic environment, increasing adoption of mobile technology, and talent attraction and retention. No one understands that dynamic better than Georgia, whose career has centered upon the changing nature of work and its implications for engagement and productivity,” said Karen Ellzey, Executive Managing Director and leader of CBRE’s Global Consulting organization. “Georgia’s addition to our workplace team further enhances our global platform, while bringing particular insight and focus to the needs of our client base across the U.S. West Coast and within the tech sector.”
Prior to joining CBRE, Georgia led strategic business consultancy DEGW’s North American practice. Georgia established DEGW’s San Francisco office in 2006; notable clients during her tenure included leading technology firms such as Autodesk, Cisco, eBay, Google, Microsoft, and salesforce.com, among others.
Georgia will join the CBRE global workplace team of Lenny Beaudoin and Chris Hood in United States, Ben Munn and Tim Allen in the United Kingdom, and Peter Andrew in Singapore. Over 40 workplace consultants operating around the world support them. The team specializes in assisting corporations and institutions seeking to rethink and realign their traditional approach to the workplace in order to improve employee engagement, drive organizational change, and manage their real estate expense.
