Law firm extends lease to remain anchor tenant at marquee West Loop property
CHICAGO – May 5, 2017 – The Chicago office of CBRE represented Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP in the renewal of 99,756 square feet at 200 W. Madison St. Chicago’s West Loop.
CBRE’s Kyle Kamin, Cal Wessman and Mark Cassata represented the client. Transwestern’s Jeff Dowdell, Katie Steele, Courtney Rosoff and Michael Lirtzman represented ownership, Multi-Employer Property Trust and Bentall Kennedy.
“This office has been the perfect fit for our firm,” said Howard Kirschbaum, partner at Barack Ferrazzano. “It has allowed us to foster growth and enhance our culture, which has directly benefited our clients. With more planned growth on the horizon, this space will continue to position us for success for the foreseeable future. Building ownership and management have been excellent to work with and we look forward to extending this relationship.”
Barack Ferrazzano first occupied the space in 2007 and the new extension will keep the firm at 200 W. Madison through 2032.
“This is an excellent example of real estate aligning well with a firm’s business needs,” said Kyle Kamin of CBRE. “We explored other options, but this is world-class law firm space, and, the building’s location in the heart of the CBD and its proximity to public transportation made it an excellent fit for where the firm is today, and, where it will be 15 years from now.”
